I’m Nicole and (aside from my love of plants) I absolutely adore helping people get their message out there.
I’ve been working in the Communications space for almost nine years now, where I have worked with some truly incredible people to showcase how great Geraldton is to live and work.
At the start of 2024, I launched Whittle Grove Communications, taking a leap into the world of freelancing. I’m thrilled to work with like-minded people who are eager to put themselves out there and grow their businesses.
My vision for Whittle Grove Communications is simple: I want to help you carve out your place in the digital space.

What sets me apart from every other person out there offering social media and communications services is the sheer amount of experience I bring to the table.
Here’s an abridged version of my career history:
- Worked as a Communications Officer – Digital at the City of Greater Geraldton for just shy of eight years.
- Currently working with NDIS provider Semi Consulting as a mentor in all things social media.
- Occasionally you might even find me running the Rocks Laneway Plant Swap event.

Past projects I’m proud of:
- Managing the City of Greater Geraldton Facebook page and helping it grow to over 17,000 followers
- Introduced motion graphics and captions into City videos, which I was also the go-to person for
- Taught a whole heap of people from various backgrounds how to use a custom Content Management System (CMS)
- Provided communications support for some pretty cool Geraldton events like the triplej One Night Stand, WoW Fest, Christmas on the Terrace, HMAS Sydney II Memorial and many more
- Featured Hearthstone streamer with Blizzard ANZ
- Featured World of Warcraft blogger on WoW Insider back in the day
- Awarded Year 12 Dux in Interactive Media because I’ve always been a nerd for making digital content 🤓
